Guitarist and composer Jay Manley is exploring new and old sounds on the 21-string Saraswati Guitar designed by Wes Lambe. His music brings alternative rock, indie classical, jazz and fingerstyle guitar together along with a surprising influence of Hindustani or North Indian classical music. after studying with vocalist Madhumita Sen Saha. Wes Lambe has designed Jay a semi-hollow body electric guitar with sympathetic and chikari strings much like the sitar.
